On March 23, the NA President Ararat Mirzoyan, the deputies, the employees of different sub-units took part in the organized cleanup campaign.

The NA representatives cleaned up the territory, did soil hoeing, improved the grass-covered territories and planted trees in the Circle-Formed Park of the capital, in the territory adjacent to Vardan Mamikonian’s Statue.

The Head of the parliament Ararat Mirzoyan took part in the initiative with his family: wife and children According to the NA President, the day has been more than festive and expected for him. “The public territory also should be observed as a house, and we should treat it with the same care,” the Head of the legislative body said.

The deputies, participating in the event expressed hope similar cleanup campaigns would be frequent, creating a new culture, a caring attitude towards the environment.

According to the NA Chief of Staff-Secretary General Tigran Galstyan, during the day the employees of the NA Staff planted about 60 ash-trees, poplars and other kinds of decorative trees in the Circle-Formed Park.
